The parties involved in this case is the Makah tribe, environmental community and students in our class. The moral issue at stakes is whether or not the Makah tribe is morally wrong for hunting the whales and whether or not we have a right to evaluate the morality of the tribe. I believe as human beings and striving for excellence we should try to promote the welfare of all creatures and saving the lives of whom or whatever we are capable of protecting. However, to evaluate the morality of the tribe would be wrong for anyone to do because they do not live in our society and are not accustom to our rules. We are dealing with perspectives and right or wrong would be in the eye of the beholder.
